an old girlfriend did this years ago, but she realised after a while that the only way to actually make serious money at it was to draft in her whole family to help her fill the envelopes. It takes much longer do fill and seal them than you might guess.
After she paid her brother, sisters and parents for their time, she had very little left over. |

I answered an ad years ago for one of these work from home jobs. I had to send them some money which i can't remember now how much. What I actually got back wasn't something I requested and it had nothing to do with what i wanted - so your answer is Yes its a con. - Well it was for me anyway!!!
I now have my own business working from home, which I love. It is most certainly not a con but its not a job either. I get paid for my efforts not line other peoples pockets at my expense.

anything on a sign post, anything sent to you in a link, any web site w/ numbers in it (example: www.32getrich.com) are all scams.
they work on the principle of....I'll make you rich, just pay me $20 for info. the person doing the scam is the only one who gets rich as they sucker person after person for 20 bucks. and since its a small amount, no police dept or such will ever go after them. |

Yes, I am ashamed to say I did!
It is a fraud, and I don't know why these people are not kept from putting these ads in the papers.
After they 'give' you the info - then for $40.00 they will 'give you' the list of who you can work for...
I paid the $40.00 and it is just a bunch of smoke and mirrors.
A lesson learned.
Kind of like the 1-800-IDEA guys!!
