If you want to work from your computer at home, you are probably going to have to do it as a business owner, rather than as an employee. There are no online work-at-home "jobs".
When you apply for a job offline, in the bricks and mortar world, do you have to pay anything? Of course not. It should be the same in the online world. If you are asked to pay any money, at best, it is a business opportunity, but more likely it is just a scam.
Be very careful that you don't get scammed.
I do affiliate marketing online. I've been doing it for a year and I'm getting ready to quit my regular job, as I am now making over $10k per month. It takes dedicated work, at minimum a small amount of initial working capital, decent organizational skills, and persistence, but you can make a living at it if you stick with it.
But that is a business.
If you want something easy, with no investment, you could probably make $500 to $1000 per month getting paid by companies to write postings on blogs about their products. That's about the only legitimate way that I know of to earn money online without any investment.
Good luck to you. |

I agree eBay is a great way to go....you just need to find products to sell. You might want to try http://www.liquidation.com. I read about them in an eBay book that reccomended them. I'm about to start on eBay as well. |

Whatever you decide to do, do it on the low. Avoid authorities and don't break town codes. Avoid being high profile. Keep your mind on your cash flow and trust no one. Neighbors are nosy and sneaky, not to be trusted. Good luck my friend, and if anyone would like a purebred pitbull puppy, they're $1500/firm. Daycare, pet sitting, consulting, freelance writer/photographer/copy editor. Crafts, especially sewing (mending, custom garments, quits), woodworking (cabnets, toys, decorative items), and furnature refinishing. Ghost writing memoirs for old folks. House cleaning, elder sitting, landscaping, window washing. Fence repair/painting/installment. Pet walking, grocery shopping, meals on wheels, odd jobs for old folks and shut ins.
The questions are what do you want to do, what skills do you have, and how dedicated are you to building a business? Working from home is WORKING from home, not hiding in the house getting a paycheck. Customer service has to come first, and I don't know a single small business owner that works only 8 hours a day. After the "work" is done, there's bookkeeping, planning, and advertising to do. It's never ending. Trust me. I make a living from home as a freelance writer and farmer. |

you can start up a pot farm inside your house. the downside is that you'd consume a lot of electricity to keep those lamps on all the time. |
