Oh yes, many things, i bought a steam cleaner to clean my carpets, it looked so new and looked like it hadn't been used much, i was kinda leary but bought it for ten bucks, that was two years ago and it still works and keeps my carpets looking new....i also bought my kids a bunkbed there and it's still in tip top shape......i love the flea market....saves so much money, especially on cloths for the kids, they grow so fast, |

I do not know about bought , but I have sold a few things in a Flea Market for £1 and they cost me anything between £10 to £250 ,
eg: Computer games , Microsoft Office 1997 , a Leather jacket , Levi Jeans , a camera , furniture.
Perhaps the best example was an IBM ( AS400 ) computer my company bought in 1988 , original cost about £50,000 , I sold it for a Tenner in a flea market in 2001 . ( Even a 50k porsche from 1988 was still worth 5k in 2001) |

Yeah. I was there for some reason and I spotted this small glass canister that belonged with a rather large collection that my grandmother. I bought it for like $10. I think now its worth about $60 without the rest of the set but much more with the other pieces. |

People who sale on flea markets, usually dealers, Garage sale, specially in expensive areas, you can find some good bargain. So, my answer is, Flea market - chip stuff , Yes, Good stuff - No. Good Luck! |

My auntie sells jewellery at the fleas in Canada and makes $600 per week, no kidding and she only goes on Sundays.
She came over to Scotland and bought rings for £20 each and sold them for 10 x that, so she ends up with free holiday and loadsa money. |

I bought a retro 70's chair, it looked like an office chair with the silver stand type leg, it was upholstered in that orange kind of knobbly material, proper 60's or 70's era. Anyway it cost me a pound. I re- upholstered it, & its smashing. The funny thing is; they've brought out something very similar in argos, to mine & its selling at £100, maybe more. Best pound i ever spent. |

Yes I bought a flea once but I wasn't satisfied so I took it back and they exchanged it for a gorilla the next week and he was full of fleas so I opened my own market and have never looked back - the gorilla is a nuisance mind as he is not house trained yet - yet gorilla dung fetches a good price these days ... and my carpet may go display at the Tate Gallery for the London Olympic Art Show ...and ... one day I may be famous and be invited to meet Mr. Brown /Blair and what is wealth compared to that? |
