Lots of people work at home and make decent money. Most of these do work at home that they formerly did in an office, often for the same employer - I know four people who do that. Others run their own businesses from home - I know two people who do that.
If you are asking about the "jobs" you find on the Internet, they're pretty much all scams, either looking for your signup fee or for your personal information so they can put you on a zillion advertising lists. You'll probably get answers here from people touting some website - look at how long they've been on Answers, and be especially aware of anyone who just signed up in the last day or two. If they just signed up today or yesterday, it's probably because Yahoo booted them off earlier for spam.

There are a lot of ways to make money from home. Especially when you start to actually get into a "home based business" you'll realize the potential.
It question isn't really if it can be done... the trouble is figuring out which way you want to make money because there's so much you could do. |

Making money from home is a vague question. Everything needs to be in line with your skills, education and personal interests. I'm sure you'll get a lot of links for websites for this question, including mine. There are many choices out there and it can be hard to sort out the good from the bad. If you are completely new to working online then you may consider joining a membership site I'll link below. Membership sites have an advantage over other opportunities because they offer ideas, training, software and support. It is the best choice for someone just starting out in my opinion. I'm not making a fortune online yet but at least I am in profit for the first time after trying to do this alone for years. |
