Classy? You do not need classy, you need INVITING! If you only want the elite to come to your business, your'e not going to be inviting as many customers!
When I was a taxi driver, first I started trying to cut in line at the airport to get in with all of the "tips" who needed rides! Half the time I was empty sitting and waiting! I'd get a $45 ride and a $10 tip every hour and a half.
Then one night, I just got really muffed with it all and I went over to the hispanic bars in downton Santa Ana, California and parked in front of a bar and stewed at myself! In a moment, I had a $5 ride to a few blocks away, then five minutes later I was back with another $5 ride customer. When they realized I was not going to cheat them, as most cab drivers do, word quickly spread to get a ride in cab number so-and-so, mine, and soon I was earning $100 per hour all night long giving $5 rides!
The point is, you need to attract customers with what you are, not try to look good with a glorious image. Word will get around, and that is the secret of a good business!
