three things
1) what is commonplace in your industry, you would not want to be cheap and drive your employees to go work for your competitors
2) you jumped from 500 to 800 monthly, I only pay 800 a month for my mortgate, what are they getting for their 800 a month, I hope it includes food, laundry and a very big swimming pool
3) if you can justify to your employees that you incur costs of 33 a day then tell them you will have to bill them seperately for weekends |

If you charge them for housing I don't think you can tell them to go home because they are already home. If you want more privacy get them somewhere else to stay besides you home on their day off, or some where else to stay all the time. |

If they are paying for lodging then it is their right to be there, you do not have the right to kick them out. I have no idea of the prices in your area so I can't help. Maybe you shouldn't have an an employee, make your life easier altogether. |

Well let see.....you are charging them 800 per month for lodging....sounds to me like they are home.....they are paying you rent....
if you were giving them 250 a day for salary until six monthes ago....did that increase or decrease......
sounds to me the bigger picture is you do not have a set contract on what is or is not permissable between you and your employee....sit down and write a contract.....if this person has been your employee for some time it would be most respectful if you include them on the details of the contract. |

I would like to answer your question, but cant seem to understand it. The part I do understand is....... Its not fair to tell them to go home on their day off. They pay to stay there. And if you do send them home then you need to lower what you charge them to stay there. I hope you are more understandable in person. |
