Paper rounds are the only option. because employers need ur national insurance number but you dont get that until your 16, you'll just have to wait. or do odd jobs for your mam or your neighbours, cleaning etc and get cash that way x |

When I was 14 I got a job in a restaurant. It was very long hours (which i was working illegally). I wasn't really bothered because I was happy doing it. Also I worked my up to sous chef and im only 16 and earning more money than the 20 / 30 year old waiters and waitresses. Just look around as much as possible and you will find something |

Selling stuff on E-bay can be a great way to pick some extra cash, the hitch might be using Pay Pal.
I suggest that you offer your parents and adults around your area to sell off any of their extra clutter on E-bay. I know that if there was someone near me who would take my extra clutter and sell it, I'd be happy to split the profits with them.
I'd start with your own stuff, or your parents stuff (with their permission) in order to get some practice. |

as someone said, you cant have a job yet, i think you can when you're 14 but their are strict rules on hours.
most people have suggested selling stuff on ebay. i go to alot of carboots and theres always loadsa bargains there, i dont do the buying-selling thing myself (i just get stuff i want really cheap), but lots of people do. you can either sell stuff at the carboot again or on ebay, which is probably preferable. i have bought many designer jeans from the car boot for about £1, and you can easily sell them for 5-10x that. there are lots of other things available, but remember larger/heavier items will cost alot to post so wont be as good a bargain for the buyer so you're less likely to make a sale. try and find something you're a bit interested in, then look at what kind of prices theyre going for on ebay. the carboot season is coming to an end now, but there might still be some in your area, theres always jumble sales which often sell clothes for 10/20p each, look for ones in wealthier areas as you're more likely to find higher quality clothes (i got a £200+ pierre cardin suit for 20p!) |

why dont you try and get a job in a local cafe just collecting disher and washing dishes and that :).
i know it's nothing big but it's something that should give you money at the end of the day.

All I know is that to work, you need a work permit and the only jobs that our age can do are...
- Agriculture or horticiltural work
- Delivery of newspapers
- Shop work
- Car washing
- Cafe or restraunt?
- In riding stables
- And Domestic work in hotels
But the work has to be lightwork.

Im 14.. and the way i do it is buy and sell stuff on eBay.
Buy stuff for cheap (through auctions) and then sell at a higher price.
You will need to do some research and design on your auction page.. which doesn't take too long.
The only thing is that yoou will need a bank account/use your parents acount.
You can buy a whole variety of things.. (i normaly buy ps3 games after completing them and then sell at a higher price). |
