There are lots of things you can do.
1) Ask at home if there are any chores you could do to earn pay? Maybe clean and arrange the garage? Weed the flower beds?
2) Ask your neighbors if they have any chores you could do for pay. Tell them you are saving for a Dell Inspiron E1505.
3) Go through your toys and make a stack of the things you no longer use. Ask your Mom if she is having a garage sale soon? If not, ask her to find out from her friends if they are?
If so, you bring the toys to their garage sale and sit with them and sell them.
4) Go through your clothes and do the same. Be sure to ask your parents first but lots of times you will have clothes and shoes that no longer fit that you could garage sale also.
5) If you have something valuable then ask your parents to help you list it on Ebay. That is like a garage sale to the whole world. They will also have to help you wrap it and take it to the post office to mail. You will need to take the postage out of your profit.

With the weather getting warmer there will be more and more things that you can do for extra cash.
How about starting a dog walking business? Make sure that you can physically handle the size of the dog!
How about a lemonade stand? As it gets hotter outside, people will be more likely to stop and get a glass!
Make cookies and sell them with the lemonade! |

Well, you can ask your mom and dad if there is something, like old toys or other things that you can sell on Ebay. My son is selling some of his old jerseys on Ebay and he hopes to use the money to buy new jerseys.
However, whatever you do -- you have to talk to your parents about helping you. They can also give you some ideas on how to raise money. Parents are great at that! |
