Get a paper route, or on Sundays you can stand at different places and sell the Sunday paper. Whatever you sell you get to keep half. |

Learn how to do work from home. You can design graphics and business cards. Or taking people's paperwork and scanning them into digital format. |

What do you like to do? How about a lemonaid stand, wash cars, walk other peoples pets, mow lawns, baby sit, find a need and fill it. Good luck to you. |

Wash cars. Use your old computer to make up small business cards and hand them out around your neighborhood. Charge a bit less than the local carwash and guarantee satisfaction.
Babysit. Always a need for that.
You are computer literate. Again, make up business cards and distribute them around the neighborhood, offering to teach people the ABCs of computer use and surfing the Web.
Charge a flat fee or an hourly fee - keep it reasonable. I once knew a teen just a little older than you (14) who did quite well teaching Net basics to older folks. If you have a retirement community where you live that's a good place to start handing out the cards or posting on the corkboard at the local supermarket.
Also, carrying groceries home for older people, women especially.
Just look around and figure out where there may be a need for a small entrepreneur to fill a small niche, and presto, you're in business |

Joe,
At your age, the best way is probably to ask your parents if they will pay you to do some chores (or extra chores if you already have some) around the house. They might pay you to do errands or weed the garden or clean up a mess somewhere. |

Talk to your parents about investing in the stock market. There are some programs out there for kids and teens, and it's a great way to learn the value of money AND the value of the stock market. |
