It's easy. Make an eBay account. I recommend you open a ebay store for a small monthly fee. Add all your items in the store catalog. Then list each item as an auction. In the auction listing, have a link to your ebay store so people can purchase the items from there. Items in your ebay store will not get any exposure unless you list auctions because ebay store items do not show up in search results. You won't get much business without having an eBay store as it costs way too much to list individual auctions for each item. |

Rather than having items delivered to your door to sell, it might be a better option to find products that have affiliate programs that you can link to. If you have items delivered, you may not always sell. Then, you will be left with stuff you cannot sell.. |

I think that you should ask those people about it and see if they can help you get started. If you want to do something, always got and ask or learn from someone who is already doing and is successful in what you want to achieve.
You could network with your local area businesses also via the chamber of commerce in your region. You could easily get in contact with wholesalers who would then hook you up with stock for selling online. Also, visit some of your local business expos, you could meet wholesalers that way, too.
The other option would be to directly contact manufacturers and buy some of their stock in bulk and at wholesale prices, then sell them online. |

Our company is a wholesale company, BUT you can not sell the items on E-bay. But you can sell the products to customers and make 50% in profit!! It's awsome.
The only legit work from home business I have found is the one my wife and I do. It's well established and, you can make a nice income (even 6 FIGURES a year)!
My wife and I both have a home based business, that we do part time and make any where from $800 to $1500 a month just working part time from home. Our goal is for my wife to stay home with the children our two girls ages 3 and 16. Right now it's part time, but eventually it will be full time for the wife so she can do the business and stay home with the kids.
The company has been in business for over 27 years, does business in 64 countries around the world, did over 3 billion $ in sales sales last year just from people working from home, and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
We got started here at http://www.herbalhomebiz.com Take a look, we both do the business and it's our answer to be able to stay home with kids and earn a nice income. Our mentor earns $8,000 a month just from working at home, and she is a single mom! |

Multi level marketing health and wellness businesses make too little money? Here are the AVERAGE monthly commissions for Arbonne consultants.
District Manager - $291.67/month
Area Manager - $1,551.35/month
Regional Vice President - $6,773.33/month + $800 Mercedes Benz cash bonus
National Vice President - $31,348.09/month + $1,000 Mercedes Benz cash bonus
...and only $29 to start your business... |

Sorry I can't help you but had to respond to your comment about Mary Kay being grouped with the other companies too little money. How is making 50% profit too little money?
Mary Kay you buy for wholesale and sell for retail or is it that you are looking ot sell on eBay which you can not do with Mary Kay. You did say you were not interested so I assuming you are not interested in Home Party type of buisness and the only reason I ask is because I assumed Mary Kay was like the others too and found I was so wrong. |

You might want to rethink the to little money deal if you aren't prepared financially to get involved with reselling. In order to do what you're talking about you will need a business license, tax id numbers, etc You should check out the SBA.gov and read up on everything. Plus you will have to go through zoning. Some areas will not allow you to sell these items from your home while other areas don't have a problem with it. Plus then you have to buy the merchandise up front and store it and What if it doesn't sell?
As far as Mary Kay, Avon, etc are concerned I don't sell any of that myself but you have to take into consideration they have wonderfully strong reputations and you would only be starting to build your own. There are tons of great companies that offer affilate programs that you can be involved with and offer low to no start up costs. I have done my home work on this over the last couple years and I myself was dying to find info about work at home companies and found out tons are not legit at all! And I was seriously turned off by many of them. The companies I Independently Rep for I have a company sponsored website with each, and only do online parties occassionally! They are actually the best resource right now for me (besides family and friends)
Best thing is Do your homework! |

you will probably end up with a garage full of crap that you can't sell.... people go to wal-mart if they want crap, so you'll have to compete with them. |
