How about why should I work for you as a mortgage company when it really about me making myself and your company some money?
It seem that they will try to see if they can get a promise from them.
It all sale talk. Don't think they going to pay you hourly unless it is according to the job description. |

tell them ur personal qualities e.g good timekeeper, u find it easy to learn things, u hav a polite telephone manner e.t.c. they will probably take the fact that u hav never worked before into consideration they did with me on my first interview and i got the job!

What is your "best" feature?
Coming straight from school you don't have much actual work relative things to use but you can use YOUR strong points.
So are you good with people? Good sense of humour? Find that you often ease stressful situations? Learn quickly? Pay attention and often pick up on the little things no-one else notices?
All of these (and loads more!) can be brought out as the answer to that question.
"I think you should recruit me because I have a good sense of humour, I often pick up on small things other people miss and I make great tea" (emphasising the humour bit there - get it??!) All said with a smile of course.
That question (and loads of others) are really just to make you think about yourself - so don't answer too quickly - make it seem like you're thinking about it! |

It's a bit of an initiative - how do you answer it without sounding big headed. Find out about the company - and say how you think you could contribute to whatever they are wanting you to do. Be credible though. Emphasise you are particularly interested in helping people to buy their own homes, and are sympathetic to their need for getting onto the property ladder, and you think you have or can acquire the necessary skills and experience to do it. Try to convey that you are enthusiastic and capable without being gushing or intimidating. Good Luck. |
