Office supply stores sell iron-on material that you can print in your inkjet printer. After the ink dries, you place it on a shirt and press it on with an iron according to the directions.
They don't last forever but it's cheap, fast and easy. |

I would agree with the people who have suggested the inkjet solution. For less than $1 per shirt (plus the cost of a shirt that you can get for under $5), you get the same quality as many of these online places. They do the same thing - they take your artwork, print it onto a transfer and press it with a heat press. The only difference between that and doing it yourself is that you need to use an iron.
Our softball team has t-shirts we made 5 years ago using the iron-on technology available then. I wash mine in cold water and you can't tell them from the day they were made.
If you're going to bother having them made professionally, have them either embroidered or screen printed. Both of those technologies are nicer than iron-on and are tough for most people to do themselves. Don't pay someone else to make heat transfers. |

Have you thought about making them at home? You can purchase printable transfer sheets that you design, print & iron on. I bought a package deal with Disney software.
Avery, Epson, etc. have them for like 10/$15, but I'm sure you could find them cheaper. Plus you can personally see the tshirt quality before ordering (every print company is different) |

I know you can customize your own T at zazzle.com. I've never actually ordered one but have customized just to see what it looks like. You can use your own pictures, too. There are lots of styles of Ts to choose from. It says on the website that shirts start at $12.95. |
