I don't know how companies like that work, but they should have told you in the beginning how your contract works. You could tell your boss that you don't think the job is for you, but that you'll finish the project or projects that you're working on, but that you don't want anymore. That way, you're not leaving him and the team high and dry but you have room to get out and you can still make money while you job search. Or, you can start job-searching now (if you're not already) and let the boss know when you're nearing the end of the project in case he/she does decide to 'let you go'. |

how do you quit your job, you look up on site that deals with advice on leaving your job. Obviously you then hand in your notice and work your notice which will probably be two weeks. As tempting as it is to tell bosses to go and f*** themselves. Don't: you may need a reference. When your boss asks you why you are leaving, tell him you want to go back to college or you are moving away, don't tell him it is because you can't stand working there and be really bubbly and happy go lucky until you leave. Bearing in mind it is just two weeks to keep a good face and leave with rapport. Try and get references. |

Why not go back to school and learn a trade that you really want to do. Then when you finish, you can get a job that you enjoy. I know painting is a hard job but if you stick it out until you finish school, it will be so much happier. |

the same way you deal with all situations: lie.
say you have been invariably fatigued ever since starting the job and that you have some kind of allergy to the paint. say that constant exposure is causing you psoriasis on various parts of your body, according to your doctor- and be clear that you dont wanna take any risks.
be emphatic in your "concern" over your future health and well being and say that you'd like to part. then say you really appreciated everything and wish your boss luck in the future. very simple.
