If your goal is just to start a business because for whatever reason you just want a business then pick a business that doesn't need much capital to start. There are countless options. Most will not make you much money but they do exist.
If you have a particular idea for a business but have less capital then you need then you need to raise capital. You do that either via borrowing or getting investors. If the idea is actually good getting money is not hard.
If what you want to know is how to start a business for $200 and be a millionaire by next year well good luck with that. If such information was available it certainly wouldn't be here. |

It really depends on the business. If you start out consulting or with an online business, you can reinvest profits into the business and then go full steam ahead when you have enough money. There are partners, investors or bank loans but do you really want to lose authority and start off a business with debt? Make sure whatever funding you get is completely spelled out in writing and honor the repayment plan. A business plan will help with your business whether you need funding or not because it will show you directions and research that will help you even if it steers you in other directions. Start your business part time to test the waters or work for someone else to make sure that's the right business for you. Keep your expenses low and you won't need as much money as you think. The most important things are your licenses and insurance because just one silly lawsuit can wipe you out. |
