How can one be a good business man?

Is there is any new business which you could suggest...

know the market you're in and corner it. you need to look at trends and predict where its going. international banking is taking off. look into it.

This is going to sound corny, but the best approach is to find something you like doing and do it as best as you can. Remember: "To thine own self be true." If you are honest and hard working and doing something you like, success will come to you.

Here it is.
Whether you're selling a product or service,believe in that product or service and use it yourself.
Don't become a person more interested in a profit. Aim for QUALITY! If you've got a service or product of quality,business will come to you. Word of mouth is a powerful thing.
Treat your employess fairly. If you screw them,they will screw you. Put your employess before profit.
Know your employees personally. Don't grow so big that the only way you know if someone works for you is by checking an employee number.

Have you heard of an internet business?
Personally, I find that an internet business is an easy way to create an autopilot income because:
1. Requires small to zero capital
2. Gets started right away and easily
3. Allows you to work from home or anywhere in the world as long as there is an internet connection
4. Has unlimited potential to earn money
5. No age or education requirements
6. Doesn't need you to have to have a company

What you need to do is to learn about the internet business as much as possible to discover whether it is for you and what your strategy is. There is free information around. Good luck.

Be a good student first, find a Mentor and be willing to learn. their knowlede is valuable. Then do your due diligence and find about your:

Marketplace
Competition
Alliances
Finacncing opportunities
and set up your team

Ther are many resources available on the web, bookstore and library.

you need a lot of things, intelligence, people skills, good contacts and a lot of luck..good business people can always spot good ideas and things to invest in..think you need to be very drivin and willing to work or go after it..nothing comes easy..you need to find somthing that nobody or very few people are doing..sorry if i had a great idea i would be rich..good luck

A young man need more practice, more failures, and he will success if he own enough experience and chance.
The Russia guy told me about his experience, time is not the essential element for success, chance is the most important, he can have his own business in St. Petersburg depend on his chance. A good business man will never lose his good chance. If the heaven give you a gift, you should catch it in your own hand.
A success businessman always has a good relation shipment; he can get enough help from others while he can help others when they need.

How to be a good businessman?

Case 1: The use of the information

A man is going to take a shower right after having done it with his wife. At that precise moment the bell rings. After some seconds of doubt, both decide that she should come down to answer the door. She wraps herself around a towel and opens the door finding their next door neighbor. Before she pronounces a word, the neighbor says:

-I will give you 1000 euros if you drop the towel.
She thinks it twice, and then drops the towel.
After seeing her completely naked, the neighbor puts his hand into his pocket, gives her 1000 euros and walks away.
Very confused, she closes the door quickly, and goes back to her husband.
When she arrives, her husband asks who was ringing the bell...
- Our next door neighbor ...
Did he give you the 1000 euros that I had borrowed him?

LESSON: If you share critical information with your associates, mainly regarding credits and risks, you will certainly avoid undesirable situations.

Case 2: Be informed

A priest is driving along the road when he sees a nun waiting at the bus stop. The priest stops and offers to take her to the next town. The nun accepts and puts her luggage in the back seat. While seating, her skirt opens revealing her beautiful leg. When the priest notices this, he almost loses control of car. Once he regains control of the car he does not resist the temptation and puts his hand in her leg.
The nun looks at the priest and says:
- Father, remember Psalm 129.
The priest removes his hand quickly and apologises, but his eyes cannot stop staring at her leg. Minutes after he goes for it once again, this time putting his hand on her knee.
- Father, the nun reiterates, remember Psalm 129 -.
The priest removes his hand and tries to apologize: - Flesh is weak, sister...
They arrive at their destination and she stares at the priest puzzled but manages to thank for the lift. The priest continues his trip and when he arrives at his destiny he runs to see what psalm 129 said:
"Be persistent and you will find glory ".

LESSON: Be well informed on subjects related to you work or you will lose great opportunities.

Case 3: How to react before an unfavorable situation
A young guy from the city goes to the country side and decides to buy a donkey from an old farmer for 500 Euros. The old man agrees to deliver the animal the following day. When they meet, the farmer says:
- I am sorry son, but I have some bad news. The donkey died.
- OK so please give me back my money.
- I cannot, I have already spent it.
- Well, then give me the donkey.
But, the donkey is dead, what are you going to do with it?
- I am going to raffle it.
- Are you crazy? How can you raffle a dead donkey?
- Well, I am not going to say that the donkey is dead, of course.

A month later they meet again, and the farmer asks:
What happened with the donkey?
As I said, I raffled it. I sold 500 tickets for 2 Euros each and earned 998 Euros.
- And nobody complained?
Only the winner, so I gave his 2 Euros back.

LESSON: This it is an example of how to turn an unfavorable situation into a success.
