I am setting up a business as a freelance secretary/virtual assistant.
Whilst promoting my business and seeking for clients I thought in the interim time I would like to do some "Work from Home". I am totally bamboozled by all the websites there are out there in cyberspace!
I don't want a "get rich quick" scheme. I just want to do honest work for honest pay!
Is there anyone who has found a genuine company that could recommend it to me? I may only need to work a few months whilst I get my own business up and running?

Any "work from home" or "telecommuting" offer that wants you to pay them to work is a scam. The only thing you get from them is a list of companies that are looking for people to work from home and the list is always outdated. |

I've never been able to find a work from home job like data entry or online surveys which allowed me to make a real income.
But this is what I do - I usually buy 200 items on ebay for 1cent each every week, all these items are sold with free postage worldwide. So if you just buy 5 items, total cost to you in just 5cent.
These ipod covers, cables etc are shipped from Hong Kong and China, but once they're delivered, you can then resell them yourself on ebay for $1 to $2 to people in your own country.
My blog shows how to find these 1cent items on ebay, using the advanced search. There's no need to spend more than 5c per item as there's thousands of items listed like this, so if you get outbid on one auction, just wait a few minutes until the next auction is ended.

No problem. In Web 2.0 era, you can spot a scam from miles in just seconds with a little diligent search on google or yahoo. On the internet, you get tons of reviews, raves and rants about scams. All it takes is just a diligent search before buying into any dream scheme.
As for Freelance, you can check elance.com and guru.com and also search on the internet good sites.

The market is way too huge and competitive to make any real money from "Honest work for honest pay" and you are missing a real opportunity if you overlook all the get rich quick schemes. Not all of them are just out to get your money.
I started one less than a month ago without investing a penny of my own money and made over $700 so far. It's pretty hard to be bamboozled when all I risked was a little time. Once you have this paying, you can go off and work on building your other business and the money will keep on coming.
