I want to sell a painting my mom bought me. My family just found out that the hospital cancled my dad's brain surgery(anuerysm) & we are struggling financially. Join one of Yahoo's "Freecycle" groups and post it there.
You can also go to Craig's List (www.craigslist.org) and find your local one...then post it under the "FREE" category there.

In our town a man had a heart attack and had to be flown out to a hospital and have heart surgery. anyway the family had a huge bennifit dinner for the bills. the local grocery store donated meat and the dinner was 20 dollars per adult and 5 for children under 12. I dont know how it turned out but I dont know why you couldnt do the same thing. also people have car washes to pay for funerals so I dont see why you cant do that too. good luck and I hope and pray your dad gets better. your a sweet kid. lots of love to you and family, |

craigslist.org, or sometimes there are local yahoo groups where you can post things for sale as well. I have one in my area.

You can sell your item on craigslist.org. Many local newspapers also offer free classifieds online. Check the Yahoo local for online classifieds in your area.
I would suggest eBay though. You will get more money, which will pay the small selling fee, and you will not have people calling or coming to your home.
