Hi, Vanessa! I actually am a Power Seller on Ebay and have sold thousands and thousands of shirts on there so I'll be glad to help you :)
You actually do not have to have a Credit Card but it is preferred that you do. What you do need is a Checking Account so you can open a Paypal Account to accept money on Ebay because 99% of people who are on Ebay pay with Paypal.
After you sell an item, Ebay will send you an email letting you know you've made a sale. In the email will be a button that says "Send Invoice" which will send a bill to the winner of your auction.
The buyer will then send you money through Paypal and Paypal will tell you what address the buyer wants the item to be shipped to.
After packing your item you can either take it to the post office and mail it to the address or print and pay for postage straight through Paypal and just drop it off in a mailbox.
The money the buyer sends you will be in your Paypal account which will stay there till you "cash it out" to your Checking Account. It usually takes about 3-5 days.

as it lists everything you need or want to know on setting up and selling on Ebay.
There are other sites then created for learning how to take advantage of everything Ebay has to offer that you may not know is there, and can really be lucrative.

Go through the process on the eBay site. It's pretty self-explanatory and you can stop and cancel your sale all the way up until the end.
You don't need a credit card. You can set up a PayPal account to accept their payment right into your bank account. If you don't want to do that, you can state that the buyer has to pay you with cash or money order before they get the merchandise. Don't accept personal checks. |

If you are serious about starting a business on eBay then I recommend you find yourself some sort of step by step guide. There are many on the internet but most are pricey.
I have found one that you can get for a fraction of what most of them cost and currently they are giving a free eBook. Personally I think it is one of the best resources for selling on eBay available. That is how I got my business started and I don't regret it because it would have taken me forever to figure this stuff out. The link is below if you are interested.
But yea, you will need to get a paypal account in order to sell on eBay. Just go to paypal.com and get an account. It's not really as hard as you may think. |
