Your best bet is to pick a reputable company and use an online template. I was in the same boat, and I used and still use GoDaddy.com "Website tonight". It makes a professional looking page for less than $10 per month. In addition you get an email that matches your domain name.
Its great, they have 24/7 customer service based in the U.S.
If you want to see some of there templates, check out a couple of sites I have developed. AirlineBuddyPass.com, Blackbarbercentral.com

Ok I hate to go against yahoo but, earthlink .com has a small business web site you can start. It has where you can pick a plan and decide how far up you want to be on a search engine. For example for so much a month if when someone types in your type of business you can be in the top 10 searches to come back. For less you can be in the top 100 and so on and so on... And building the web site is really easy to I didn't know anything about the web when I built mine and it came out pretty nice. |

I used them for one site, very easy to build a simple one with the tools and templates provided. As I recall it was under $100.00 for a Year, including domain name registration. |

My aunt wanted a webiste for her photography business and couldn't spend ANY money at first because she was waiting to get her money back from someone that didn't deliver a promised website. I went to www.freewebs.com and hooked her up for free. she will be siging up with them and its under 5 dollars a month. Then you can put the other 95 dollars a month into growing your business. And I cant think to tell you how to "get customers" because I don't know what you are selling. good Luck |

Just do a search for free web hosting and save your one hundred bucks. or for a fairly small fee, way less than a hundred, you can have someone host it for you. There will be places who try to take that one hundred from you, but dont be fooled, you dont need to spend so much. Hell if you want, Ill put 30 hours doing the work for you, and you can pay pal me the 50 bucks? howz that sound |
