First, write a business plan. Second, have someone with some common business sense review your business plan. Third, re-write your business plan.

Then go to local small business / entrepreneurial clubs. Most universities have small business development centers.

Consider SBA loans. If you have a business that requires 200,000 in capital, the SBA will underwrite 2/3rds of that - so you might only actually need 70,000.

Friends and family are often good sources for seed capital. If your plan is good enough you might be surprised how many people offer you $.

And finally, fail fast. If your idea is a stinker move on to the next one or do something drastic to get it on the right path.

u can't start a business lik that.first u start up with a small business and when u will succeed in that than u can try and take loan and set up a big business.

Get a 9-5 job that pays well (above minimum wage) Start a free website along with sorces and site builders, learn a little bit about HTML scripting, and slowly start building up the site, and eventualy pay for advanced services. Use PayPal buttons to sell your items. It's best to buy items in bulk, and then sell them individualy, so you can make more money off of them. Then keep it going from there.

Depending on the type of business, you can get grants from the government.

Move to Florida or Louisiana and wait for a hurricaine to wreck your place. Apply to FEMA for assistance then take the money and start your business somewhere there's better weather. Or, issue stock and try to sell it to investors but that takes a lot more work.
