If you're up to it.... Offer to mow LOTS of yards. People who are offering these services 'professionally' are charging more and more due to gas prices increasing... .Find people who get their yard done professionally - find out what they are being charged, and then offer them a rate they can not refuse!
Other than the other suggestions you already thought of, that's the first thing that came to mind........... Pool cleaning too I guess!! You could also try to find some elderly people and offer a small fee to help them with things around the house. They would probably pay you just for the company alone! |

Have another car wash at a better location. Dont forget the bikinis. Crude but true. Its all about the marketing. Make it free and accept donations. I made over 2,500 in 3 days once. this was when I was living in Miami. Also, you can get up at the crack of dawn and deliver papers. |

I would start hitting up people for cash! Seriously, I would tell my family that in lieu of Christmas/B-day gifts I would appreciate money towards my trip. Also What about doing a fundraiser w/ your class, such as grocery gift cards. Our supermarket sells $50 gift cards to schools for $25, then the school kids sell them at face value w/ half the money being pure profit. So people buy something they need anyway and help you in the process. Also...if your trip is some time away, you could put the money into a CD (certificate of deposit) it will sit there and collect interest for 9 months or so. Shop around for the highest interest rates for your time frame. (your parents will probably have to co-sign this) It won't make a huge amount of extra interest but around $20-40 maybe would be the difference between eating out somewhere decent vs. Burger King or whatever. |

Try online surveys they pay teens pretty good...theres many opportunities everywhere you just have to look and stay aware...also you can try getting a job if you have the time or by simply helping neighbors...walking dogs, buying a bunch of candy or chips and selling them to kids at school...that always works because kids now a days love junk food...goodie luck! |
