Your computer most likely came with Microsoft Works.
Get the Avery business card "paper"
In Microsoft Works choose to make labels.
Make your "card" design
Print... and be sure to select the EXACT Avery form number.
I print my cards this way.
Note: to get graphics to go where you want in relation to text... make one file for the graphics and a second for the text. Takes 2 passes through the printer. Looks great. |

Please read my helpful hints on business cards at www.doranpeck.com
I would recommend not printing them at home, as you will give the impression to potential clients that you are cheap.
presenting a sloppy business image will hurt you in the long run.
for additional help please email me at doran@doranpeck.com
I have a solution to your printing needs as well |

You can get free business cards at www.vistaprint.com. All you have to pay is shipping which may be like 4 dollars. |

Any office supply store - Office Depot, Staples, etc.
You can also have a quantity of business cards printed totally free at www.vistaprint.com
They have a pretty good selection and full color if you like. A lot of start up businesses use them. You just pay shipping and handling (probably cheaper than buying blank cards.)
Good luck with your venture! |

You can't. You have to order them, have them made, and then shipped to you.
But you can technically make them yourself (on a Word processor, for example) and print them out, but they won't have the texture, thickness, or professional look. |
