I am part of the online appt pilot program. You can join online with me and get your kit delivered from Avon directly.
You can also join locally with a Leadership rep.
Mailing or faxing contracts and kits is against Avon Policies. You can only join online with a rep in the online appt program. All other appointments must be done face to face. The online appt program is only open to a select few representatives at this time.

I just joined avon and all I did was go to avon.com and put in my zipcode. There you will find all kinds of reps and with most you can get started.

Who ever said sell Mary Kay, Avon is for old ladies is way off. I sold both. Old ladies were the only ones that bought Mary Kay. Avon I was exceptionally successful at. I was among top in sales for my region.
It should only cost $10 to start up. Unless they've changed that. You do not need to sell online unless you want to. If you know someone that sells, let them sign you up, because they get prizes or other things for recruiting you. If not, call the toll free number for Avon listed in the phone book.
You'd be amazed how much money you can make selling Avon. My advice to you is to look at it as a job, not a hobby.

When you do start as a enterperneur,I would recommend putting ads in supermarkets,laundromats,newspapers and even go around the neighborhood putting books in peoples doorways.
