Best bet is to find something at which you excell and market that.

It's actually very easy. All you need to do is buy your supplies (if you need any). I don't think that you have to use a supplier, just buy everything you need at drugstores, kmart, and food stores (depending on what you are planning to sell). Advertising is really easy. Just print out a few eye-catching flyers on the computer and hang them in public places that potential buyers might see. It really also depends on where you put your flyers. If this is a business that appeals to young moms, then try the grocery, local day care center, or YMCA. Think about who your buyers are and where they might go during their daily lives. I also recommend ordering a copy of Beyond the Lemonade Stand: Starting Small to Make it BIG! by Bill Rancic, winner of the apprentice. Great question, Let me tell you the best way if you have no prior experience. Join a Network Marketing company, it is a bit like a Franchise (McDonald's is a franchise). But you have your own business name and have the freedom to run your business any way you choose. You also get a supervisor that will assist you in setting up and running your new business until you are confident enough to do it all yourself.
