However, if there was a holiday on Wednesday, then 1 to 2 business days from Tuesday would occur on Thursday (1 business day) or Friday (2 business days).
Similarly, if today was a Friday, and something were to occur in 1 to 2 business days, it would occur on Monday (1 business day), or Tuesday (2 business days) because of the weekend. |

if you buy something and it is supposed to take 1-2 business days, you should have it by 2 days from now, unless it's a wekend or holiday- in which case start your counting on Monday, and Tuesday is the second business day. Most places I've had things shipped from also need to "process" the order, and state that the 1-2 business days is after the ordr has been processed...typically tack on another day or 2, especially if it's around a holiday. |

you order december 24th, and they say it will come in 1-2 business days. it will most likely arrive december 26th-27th, due to the fact that December 25th (Christmas) is sometimes not a business day. |
