if you order something on a monday, then tuesday TO wednesday is one business day; wednesday TO thursday is another... you could safely expect your package on or before thursday.
however, if you order something on a friday, then monday TO tuesday is business day one, tuesday TO wednesday is business day two. expect your package on or before the following wednesday. |

It depends. A business day is any day of the week that's not a holiday or a weekend day. Some companies take off New Year's and/or the day before - it depends on the company. If you ordered an item on the 31st, you can probably expect it either Friday or Monday. |

I would say 1 to 2 business days is from the time the business opens to the time they close. Take a bank for example. They're usually open from 8-5. So they're 1 to 2 business days would be somewhere between 8-5 the first day and the same with the second, give or take a few hours. |
