How many hours does a salary employee have to work?
How many hours does a salary employee have to work in 1 day to count as a full day. And 2nd, when adding ur hours for the week, do you count that partial day as a full day or just the amount of hours worked?? My place of employment likes to make up their own rules, we even have to fill out a time sheet as Salary employees
Salary employees, by definition, do not work Hourly schedules.
In my experience, salaried workers work longer weeks then hourly workers. (Making the salary worth less then it sounds!)

The federal government has many rules on what constitutes a "salaried" employee (also known as an exempt employee because you are not eligible for overtime). Your best bet is to contact your local labor board and have them send you over the guidelines and different classifications of salaried employees. Your current employer may be in violation of the law if you are not truly a salaried employee.

as what i know, a regular full time employee's hours should be around 8 hours per day, 40 hours a week.
