How many of you sell on Ebay?

Do you do any good? I notice that there seems to be a lot of watchers but no bids. Makes me think that they are curious as to see if it sells and what it goes for in case they want to put something up for bid simular. That's what I do. lol

Yes and so far I have had very poor luck. I wanted to try to make a small business work on ebay but I think to many are already doing this. It is pathetic when something that costs over $30 sells on ebay for $1.00.

I've tried to sell a few times on eBay.. one time I did GREAT, with only a few watchers, and another time I had a ton of watchers, and NO bids.. I think it's hit or miss... good luck!

i watch alot....i only bid on about 1 out of 25 auctions that i watch. i have been selling on eBay for 9 years and it is a good way to make extra cash.

Craigslist > ebay for selling items you have as cheap as possible

Ebay > craigslist if you're selling a lot or if you plan to make a living off of it.

I do. Watchers are often looking to get the best deal by waiting until late in the auction to bid. Many items really depend upon the market at the time.

I sell my junk. If it has some value and I'm willing to ship it, I put it up on ebay. I don't get as much as I think it is worth, but i'm nostalgic and my junk really isn't that great.

If I get $50 and I think I shoulda got $200... $50 is better than $0.

There are people that are looking to buy something and there are people that are looking to get a great deal.

I have found that, by letting people that are interested in what I am selling know I have it for sale, I get a fair market value. I will go to groups where people that are interested in what I am selling.

Try Craigslist instead. Its free and it isnt near as complicated as Ebay. No fees and you don't need Paypal.

I stopped once PayPal became a mandatory payment option.
I did pretty well up until that.
