Pardon the ignorance, but what is a tea break? In the US, most people get a 45 min lunch and one 15 min break for every 8 hours worked. |

None specified by law - however, you're allowed to take regular short breaks away from PCs, but this can include breaks away from the PC to do other tasks - not necessarily to drink tea!! |

you are allowed one every four hours, 15 mins when you get a lunch anything under 1 hour should be paid, in my workplace they took a tea break off us because of the way the lunch fell meaning it wasnt four hours before we went home |
