I have a 15 minute break in the morning. Then 1/2 hour for my lunch so I can leave early! But we have free drinks machines, so we bully them all day.. so thats like breaks too!

Pardon the ignorance, but what is a tea break? In the US, most people get a 45 min lunch and one 15 min break for every 8 hours worked.

legally - EU law - you have to have a break after a maximum of 5 hours work. there is no requirement for tea breaks.

None specified by law - however, you're allowed to take regular short breaks away from PCs, but this can include breaks away from the PC to do other tasks - not necessarily to drink tea!!

betty_boop81xx
you are allowed one every four hours, 15 mins when you get a lunch anything under 1 hour should be paid, in my workplace they took a tea break off us because of the way the lunch fell meaning it wasnt four hours before we went home
