Go to art fairs and see what similar styles and sizes are getting. Good ones from unknown painters can be worth a couple thousand, if they attract the right buyer. If you just want to move merchandise, $75 to $400 is a good starting point.

I would say check out the competition first. See what their stuff is going for and go with those numbers. People tend to pay more for art up to a point so you should be ready to shift your price up or down 10%.

You will need to do a spilt test and find out from the market. Split test means that you will need to setup at least two website to promote your products with different prices. From there, you could judge what prices you could sell to others based on market demand and profit you made.

You could start at $50 for small pieces (8x10) and go up from there... and charge more for your favorites... if it is hard to part with, charge accordingly. Generic living room art at places like Cost Plus Importers are $100 and up for something barely big enough to put over a couch.
