are there others providing a similar service in the area?
how large is your customer base?
what is the going rate for similar services in your area?
what is the minimum you will accept for an hours work?
what can your customers afford?
do your customers talk to each other? if they do then you may have a difficult time charging more to one than the other.
always bid high on each job and be ready to negotiate down but never accept less than your minimum worth. |

I would say 5.00 per hour plus tips! Tell them you work on base plus commission which = you making good tips if you do a good job. If you set your base price to high, they won't tip!
Do a good job w/ a good price and you'll get $20 tips 4 sure! plus call backs and referrals for more work around the neighborhood!

Hi, Its good to se young ladies trying to make some money, good for you. I would charge 6 bucks each, since there are 2 of you which would be equivilent to 12 bucks per hour. If one of you just do it at the time, like cleaning charge 8 dollars per hour. If you are baby sitting after you set up and clean for the day I would do 8 bucks per hour for each of you. Also if you go into anyones house make sure your are not alone(especially if you arent that close with the people) and make sure your parents have all information where you are at. Also, when mowing lawns If it small lawn charge by the hour like15 flat rate. If it is huge and two of you I would charge 20. It bascially depends on what you do and if there are two of you things will get done faster. It might be wise to make a flyer with your with reasonable prices. This way there wont be any misunderstandings. good luck and be safe |
