i lived in Philly and i got a job at the corner store when i was 13. i got payed on tips but i made 150-200 a week as long as you don't work for a store that sells alcohol or tobacco then you can probably get a job. but you probable have more a chance of getting it if older. but if your smart and the boss likes you might get a job. well good luck trying to find your job. i got a job when i was young and now I'm going to college at south Florida university. so like i said good luck and who knows you might hit the lottery and become a millionaire one day

I think most states are the same.. if you get working papers, you can work at any age. Out here in New England it depends on the store and most stores say 18+.

15 in some places. I work at an ice cream place and started working when I was 15. There are a lot of time restrictions when working at 15 though (you can only work until 7 p.m. and no longer than 3 hour shifts)
