For me, the paid survey sites were a crock when it came to making real income. Someone asked me if I thought it would work, so I put it and many sites to the test. This is what I found in a six month time frame. You have to sign up for a bunch of different free sites. Which I did. Most sights only allow one survey a day. Some you were lucky to get two. Each survey takes between 15 to 45 minutes to do. Occasionally you get a phone survey to complete for the same amount of time then paper work that you need to fill out that takes a half hour to an hour to do and they send you $10 to $30 dollars a few weeks later after you sent it back. Estimated waiting time was 4 to 6 weeks. However I only received two of those types in a six month time frame. The internet surveys offer anywhere from $1-3, even though they said $10. You spend 10 to 15 minutes for prequalifications on a survey and 68% of the time you don't qualify for a survey for whatever reason, either being race, religion, or the area you live in. They only allow so many slots for each region. Once it gets filled up, the survey is over, yet you still have to complete the preqaulification survey. Wasting a few hours a day doing it, to only qualify for a couple of surveys each day that only end up paying you one to three dollars.
The other way you make money with the survey sites is by accepting their offers, or purchasing something or refering friends and family. Most of the offers you enter your email address and you then start getting a lot of spam emails from various different companies. I got bombarded with 250 spam emails a day. It took me just a couple of days to get rid of them all and put into my spam filter. But it still created a problem. Purchasing things is fine, as long as you would of had to buy them anyway. In most cases you don't. Then some sites offer you to pay you to read emails. These you only get 1 to 3 cents an email. A lot of emails to have to go through to make a buck. You don't get them all in one day. So many different things on these sites that people don't tell you. They'll offer it to you so you sign up take a survey then they get paid for you signing up. That's where you make the most money from survey sites is refering people over to them. So the bottome line is if your looking to "make" money, this isn't the way to go. If your into it for the principle and help out with the "voice" and let the marketing companies know what you like and dislike and help out in that way, then you should do it. But don't expect to make a lot of money with the survey sites. You will make some, but nothing that is going to support you.
What I have personally found the most beneficial to making a suficient amount of money from home, is starting a home based business. My 6 year old is on the Spectrum of Autism, that is why we went this route too! It's hard, but there are a lot of different things you can do to help your son. If you'd like info on some autism tips, email me I'll give you a few links for that.
There are plenty of home based business's to start. You need to chose one that makes the most since to you and one that would be the most profitable. One that you can also have your son with you.
My husband and I started our own business over six years ago in the telecommunication industry, and it's just incredible. We partnered up with a 15 year old world wide company that offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway. Services such as local and long distance telephone services, Internet, video phones, VOIP, digital, Satellite T.V. and all the major cellular phone companies have partnered up with them too. How many people do you know, or know of that uses any of these services? How would you like it if you could save people money on their services that they are already using every day, and make a percentage of everyone's payments every single month? Think about how much money you can make in this industry. It's just incredible. We've been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated us the 22nd fastest growing company.
If you'd like some information, feel free to email me.
There's a lot of other home based business's that you can get involved in too. I created a blog on my 360 page that your more then welcome to take a look at. There are over half a dozen different ones. If you find one you like, contact the person who wrote it.

The website I use lists all the FREE paying legitimate survey sites, and categorises them by payment type, paypal, check etc.
Check out:
http://www.makesomemoney365.com
It also has a forum where members discuss the survey sites
Dont pay any sites to get lists or let survey companies charge to your card - those are usually scams in themselves - and dont pay a survey company anything - the whole point is for them to pay you..
There are plenty FREE survey sites out there - check out the site that lists all the LEGITIMATE sites |
