How to become rich ?

Are you working for a recruitment firm?

Well, it doesnt matter what your answer is. If you are, then you may have met hundreds of young job seekers who all come to you with a similar question. And you know 98% of them do not become rich. But they all want to become rich.

And those who really become rich, if you observe, very rarely ask this quetion. They always have a different question in their mind. Probably they also want to become rich. But the difference is that they ask more specific questions.

Your question is like "how to go to moon?". But if any person is very seriously trying to go to moon, he may ask more specific question like "how to adjust to the different gravitational force there?" Or "what are the steps to control stress?" "How to connect with other coleagues on earth station?"

Normally a person who ask a question "How to go to moon?" do not really have any serious plan to go to moon. The moment they have a serious plan, they may stop asking this question and start asking an engineering related question some times.

One should not make "becoming rich" one's aim. One should have a clear aim in life. One should understand one's strenghs and weaknesses and find an area of activity. There may be trial and errors, and may take more time, but however if you are clear about your plans, over a period of time, you will identify your area of activity. Then you will understand the details of that and become more and more familiar with that. You may network with other players of that field- your coleagues, your competitors, experts, customers, other related markets etc. One may also refine his/her skillset and if necessary take formal and informal training. Above all use good commonsense to go deep into the subject.

There are a few points one can keep in mind.
1) If you do the same thing what many others do then the chances of you becoming successful is very low. Do things differently. But dont ever try to do things differently only for the sake of doing it differently.Ask this question to yourself always- Why should your customer chose your service/product? Why not any other similar ones? If you are working ask this question, why your employer should employ you? Why any others? -- there should be a reason for others to chose you or yoru service/skills. This is very important.
2) Any new type of business may throw up a lot of demand and opportunity. Being a pioneer is always risky. But if you can take up risks and solve and overcome the hurdles, then your success will be unique and more benefitful.
3) Try to work on economy difference. This is the world of outsourcing. Outsourcing is you execute a work in a cheaper way and sell it in a rich market. The rule of outsourcing is true in many other businesses, like travel business.
4) Helping poor is good, but never target the poorest. You make money first and help the poor.

6) The faster you grow in business the chances are that you have not learnt the rules of the playing field and the chances of you fall down is more. If you make mistakes and grow slowly, then you may stay successful for longer. Make mistakes, but dont repeat them, learn from mistakes.
7) Normally people work when they take away other people's (normally owner of a business take workers' hard work) work result. You need not exploit your workers, but always use others service. Find a way to accommodate more people in your plan and activities and help every one to grow. When all those around you are successful, there is very less chance of you left behind.
8) Keep the best people around you, even if they are better than you.
9) Use latest technologies like internet to minimize your expenses for marketign etc.
10) One make money in two ways. a) By increasing the income and b) By minimizing the expense. Always find a way to reduce expenses.
11) Be punctual. Time is money
12) Go deep in to the subjects
13) Give love to others. More love you give, more others love you. You need others co-operation. You wont get others' co-operation if others dislike you.
14) Think Big.
15) Be part of other groups. Help other groups grow. It will help you back

17) Always think, what is your contribution to this world? That is more important than making money
18) Be confident. Give respect to others. Only a confident person can give respect to others. And when more and more people start respecting you, it will boost yoru confidence.
19) Small successes are important. We are human beings. We lose heart when we encounter small failures repeatedly. Always make small small sucesses and go forward step by step.
