Hello I was recently looking at a page about methods to take over a lawn mowing companies competitor (s). The responses were really good and varied. I am working towards becoming wealthy and as we normally are quite clued up on marketing it would be good to hear everyone else’s thoughts on this. This particular line of instrument is quite niche... We supply the brand of instruments that the founder of the business created an internationally recognised method of recording and interpreting results and all our competitors use this “Scale” in the instruments to... Both our main competitors always play on price and go in with a low valued product that might not necessarily be the right instrument for the job. The instrument may be “cheaper” today but after the warranty period the customer rationally has to replace parts and send it back to a service centre. ( the cost of this kit for quality control starts at around £6500) Our overheads are not to high and our service levels are great ( even though I do say so my self) I want to grow our distribution business, make our customers understand that we are the better option over the long term and basically blow them out of the water... What ideas do people have for our marketing and also our business approach?
