The best tactics: 1-Determine the area you want to be successful. 2-Define your age, gender, appearance objectively. 3-Find (a)similar type of people who are (b)successful in the area you want to be successful. 4-Make a 10 or 20 items list about their choices. 5-Either copy them, or create your own selection within your list. 6-At the end of this process you will be dressing in a "recognized" and successfully. |

Dress to impress but not OTT!!! Just remember the three "S" Dress Codes: Smart, Suave and Sophisticated! Or is that OTT?!!! Just dress in a nice and presentable manner as first impression lasts forever! |

BUSINESS SUITS ALWAYS MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION. FOR FEMALES WERE MINIMAL MAKE-UP, PERFUME AND JEWELRY. AND WEAR YOU HAIR BACK. |

Go downtown during lunch time and look around. See how they dress. You can buy clothes but the devil is in the details. And always get your clothes fitted by a tailor. Nothing says low-class like a badly fitted suit and cheap shoes. |

You need a conservative, well-kept, well-fitting suit with sensible shoes and jewelry. A guy gets to wear one ring (wedding or class ring) and a watch but no other jewelry. But he also must wear a tie. A girl gets to add an engagement ring if she has one and one earring in each year (both matching). Light makeup for ladies, none for men. She gets VERY light perfume, no scent for him. And make sure all the toothbrushing, deodorizing, etc. has been done as close to interview time as possible. |
