Buying from garage sales and selling on eBay is fun, and good getting a few dollars here and there from ebay. Sometimes, you luck out on an item and hit big, but many times it will just be so-so (assuming you can even get the price you paid for it). In terms of fun factor, it is great. But from a business stand-point, it is not. Not sustainable.
If you want to earn serious money from eBay and get rich from ebay, you need to have a well-thought out business model. Selling on ebay is getting tougher -- just look at the number of auctions that closes without a bid. Go to the boards on ebay and you will hear even oldtimers complaining about how stiffer competition plus higher fees make it so much harder to sell on ebay.
One success model of ebay is the couple Jay and Marie Senese (username jayandmarie) of the 1-cent CD fame. They have the highest positive feedback number of all sellers on eBay. You get rich by doing something different- better, newer, more useful, etc. Not by doing what everybody else is trying to do.
There is no magical get rich quick scheme, especially for us near the bottom of the feeding order. No Internet program, no magic stocks, no Nigerian banker, no real estate deal, no mail scam, or anything like that will do the job.
HOWEVER, if you are young, there IS a way to have a million bucks in the bank or more in the bank by a target age. Use a retirement planning calculator and see how much you would have to park at what interest rate to have your target amount by your target age. Thanks to the magic of compound interest, small depositis will build for you after enough time. |

depends on the kind of stuff you r selling. If it is valuable or and antique, then it should fetch a high price.
The more of such items yu sell, the more yur chances are of getting rivh, however, make sure that yu get a profit. The higher the profit, the higher yur chances of getting richer. |

ebay is most of the time a scam. I only buy from people wiht over 100 rating and 100 percent satasfaction. Its worked for me so far.. |

Sure, you can get rich there, but you have to have good products that you buy at a low price, and will sell at a high price. Most people don't make that much on Ebay. |

At one point, I would have said, definately. Even I was going to hop on the Ebay.com train. Now however, Ebay.com teamed up with Paypal.com and Paypal.com spends more time in Courts Getting sued then the lawyers working criminal cases. So things that sold well on Ebay a year ago are struggling with 6 even 7 repostings for items. Because no-one trusts paypal.com. If you don't believe me, look up an item you know sold like wildfire, even on multiple posts for the same item. Now, not even one bidder, half the time.
