Finding a legit work-at-home job is pretty much a crapshoot. And one without good odds.
There are a few survey sites, and paid email sites that actually do payout, but you won't get rich from them, or even earn a month's salary in a year's time. I've been on the Lightspeed panel for a couple of years, and made about $60, total, in that time. But I seriously can't say one bad thing about them; the site and staff is awesome. Hits4Pay is a paid email site, it's not spammy, and it definitely pays out, but it'll take quite a while to build up enough for a payout (it's only 0.02/email). Cashcrate I've gotten a check from, but I've had problems with having my completed offers validated. Lots of people don't, though. Your mileage may vary.
Check out mystery shopping. You won't make much there, either, but it may be something you'd enjoy. Shopnchek is a legit one. I signed up, but never got motivated to actually do any shopping, but there's always opportunities near you (I live in a rural area, and still had lots of shops to choose from).
Basically, unless you get a real job with a real company in the real world, and just telecommute, it's going to be hard to make a living from home. |

I have been trying to find something like that too. I am a military spouse and have a 3 year old and 6 month old and really want some extra income. I've been searching job sites and the pay ones are the only ones I can find and most aren't part of the BBB. Good luck though. |

Most of those sites are scams. I wouldn't trust them. I use Adsense to make money from home. check it out at google.com/adsense
It's hard work, but if you have free time to build a website and work on driving traffic to your site, you can earn a lot of money. |

If you are an accomplished typist - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a "certified" graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects. An average weekend income is about $300-$400 for two days work.
Good luck! |

i don't make any money but i don't spend any money. thrifty scot. penny saved is a penny earned. got the book called "how to live on damned near nothing." lots of good ideas. eat well, have a comfy roof over my head and i get by. could probably make some money. but i need a lot of timeto take care of myself and clean up. i build things (fancy bird houses and take care of my old cat). if i had an extra 100 this week i would spend it on a step exerciser at goodwill. spotted an really good one but i don't have to have that used fancy thing. i admit i covet it but it might give me a damn heart attack just moving it in myu house. weights over 150 pounds the web said. new they are $200 and i can get it for about 150. yeh, i want things but not necessary at all. if it isnt one thing it is another. the first buddha said the problem humans have is cravings. mostly cravings for what hey really dont need. i believe that is true. money at home. better to chant and meditate probably. write some letters to old friends. sit quietly and savor the good times. dismiss the other. what if if work for money at home and suddenly have a stroke and they find me with a handfull of silly money? yeh, that is not the most important thing when you just watch your health carefully or else. |
