There are many "odd-jobs" that you could offer to do for your neighbors. I'm sure there is an elderly person/couple who would be happy to pay you to help them with household chores! |

Buy cheap juices and paper cups and make icees. Advertise around your neighborhood telling people about the cool summer treat. Sell them for a buck a pop.
Take out garbage. I live in a development where you don't just put your trash out on the curb. You actually take it to a dumpster. Try this in you neighborhood or in a neighborhood like this. I used to make 20 bucks in about a half hour.
Babysit. Ask your parents if it would be all right if you could use the house for a mini daycare and then ask them to ask their friends. Charge 6-7 dollars an hour per kid. |

there's not a lot to do for kids our age... im 12, too! id say ask your parents to give you an allowance. dont bug them about it. try to convince them you're resopnsible enough. if not, try finding someone to babysit for, or, if you're desperate, sell lemonade. |

I don't know where you live, but when I was 12 i opened a neighborhood recycling business. Basically people paid me to take their recycling to a recycling center. I would pick up every week and bill every month. You are going to need your parents help until you turn 16 though. |

I remember those days. Good ones too. You know why? Cause I was bankin tons of dough all day long. Here's how.
First of all, you can't make money unless you know how to sell something or offer a trade(skill you know). So let's work on that. The only thing you need to back yourself up is confidence. If you don't have confidence, you will have holes in your pockets all day long. Just lint sitting in there...ewww.
Some examples are a lemonade stand, a newspaper route, lawncare(mowing lawns/hedging/cutting trees), chores, and selling stuff in the classifieds or on ebay. Now I know the last one you can't really do, but the classifieds will work for you. That's how I did it. I sold my playstation 1 for $50 in the classifieds. From there, I went back through the classifieds and searched for an item I wanted. I purchased it, and re-sold it for more money. Eventually, you will work your way up the ladder.
