Hi Veera,
1. Write down a business plan -
it will contain info like what are you planning to do, how you will acquire clients, how many people you will employ, what about salary, marketing strategy etc; in general it is a written document about the plans that you have in mind.
2. Finance -
After a sound plan is ready, start arranging for funds - whether it is a self funded one or partnership etc;
3. Meet Industry people in the field -
You must meet people who are already involved in that business that you are also planning to do. It's not that everybody will help you.But, some people are very light minded they will come forward to help you.
4. Meet Advocate / Auditor / CA's:
You need to know the local govt rules for business house; tax rates; registration etc; and the best people to guide you is either an Advocate / Auditor / CA's. Don't treat this as a expense; think it as a investment.
5. Important Things you need to remember:
a. Partnership is desirable rather than sole investment but see that you have minimum limit of investors
b. Understand the laws properly before setting up a business house
c. Overhead cost - must be minimum; go for 1 or 2 employees initially; set up a own house based venture - so that you avoid rent / advance for that place.
d. Be strong in what you want to do.

Firstly, choose a business, i.e, product, services, trade.
Secondly, make your deeper studies for the chosen, product, services, trade, etc. by interviewing, various successful person in the same business, and take advice industry leaders as far as possible. Thirdly, make a list of available resources. Fourthly, give a thought for possible associate or partner for enhancing your resources and helping hands. Finely (fifthly) workout with your Charted Accountant.
