It depends on what you want to do. There are a lot of home based business ideas out there with great income opportunities. I created a blog on home based business's. People that I know have posted the business's that they are involved in on my 360 page. Go to the blog that states home based business's and scroll down to the end of that section and click onto comments. There's a list of some really good ones. Most home based business's cost under $500, some cost more. Depending on what you want to do.
I won't allow any business's on their that do not have really good income opportunities. There is no surveys or things like that. Anyhow, take a look at my 360 page, if you find one that your interested in, contact the person that posted.
Good Luck!

There are several steps you should take first:

1.Ask your self why do you want a home business and not just a better paying JOB?

a. What is not spending too much? Determine what you can invest initially so that you can leverage your time and business to profit quickly.
b. Determine about what you can afford monthly for such things as advertising, business supplies (computer, good long distance plan, website, etc..)

2. What is my motivation your WHY? Not your wife's, girlfriend, mother or father why, but your why!

3. Find a mentor, someone who has a vested interest in your success. In my personal opinion MLM is not for me, because someone is always getting paid for my efforts, ALWAYS. (That is my personal opinion)

4. Find a business model that is duplicatable by anyone regardless of their experience level.

5. Find a business that has a solid product.

6. If you are serious about a home business you're going to have to get out of your COMFORT ZONE.

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result."

7. Make sure there is a community for support, not just one or two people but a community where you can pick up the phone and get some help. The type of community where once you get networked into you have a way of looking up other people you hear on the training call that you can reach out too.

These are just a few of the qualities that I have used in by business to go from my IT job to stay at home dad. There is a lot good information out there.

Best Wishes

Try creating an web site that generates a lot of traffic and sign up for either Google Adsense Code or the Yahoo version of Google adsense. You will be paid by the number of times an ad is clicked on by visitors. Here is an article that may help you:

At home businesses are nice in that they are easy to start up and shut down with very little start up cost and operate with little overhead.

It's really hard to tell how what range you should look for without knowing what kind of industry to get into. But some things to consider in terms of money are tying up some cash into a segregated bank account, purchasing inventory and getting new equipment if needed like a computer - especially if you intend to keep a separate home office from the rest of the house (required by IRS regs to take a home office deduction).

If you chose to organize your business into a S-Corp or LLC, then that will mean additional costs.

Good luck on the new business.

I wish I could tell all people who are interested in starting a home business about this. It is truly the best way to do it I have ever come across.

go to : low-cost-stock-recommendations

.com

Click on the "About This Site" Button at the bottom of the Navigation Bar

Read the elderly ladies story. Then click on the ad so you can see the product.

I enthusiastically recommend this. I purchased it back in early December, and my business is about ready to be opened.

Check it out....it is the best
