How sure are you that they've been nasty intentionally and not just through lack of thought.
Have a talk to them and explain how you feel about what they've said or done and see what they're reaction is.
If you face up to them you may well make them feel guilty and sorry about the situation which is a much better outcome than getting into some sort of 'war' with them. |

First off, what is this person doing to you that you consider mean or nasty? What behavior are they showing toward you? That would provide a better idea of how to answer your question.
My experience has been that sometimes I misread what a person is doing - and it may not be targeted toward you in the first place. And if you can step aside from the situation and have a conversation with this person - you might find out what is truly going on.
Aside from all the nasty comments made in response - burning the dog, etc.....Two wrongs do not make a Right. A answer calmly said can turn away rage, or at least difuse the situation. |

There are a few things you could do. Depending on the person and their relationship to you. I either start with a conversation which would have a friend in it that this had happened to so you vent your opinion that way and they would understand what they did, that way you don't have to be in their face. Or you could bide your time......this is usually a good one because what they do eventually comes back to bite them on the backside! That is sweet! |
