If you can do wed design there are always small businesses that need a website or you could make brochures or business cards. Ask your parents friends, or your friends parents if they need any of this kind of work. If not try going to the businesses in your area, dress professionally and be polite, the you might get turned down a few times but just keep asking. Good luck!!! |

Well, your idea of "hard labor" is basically all there is for a 13 year old. I just turned 14 may third, and I do alot of "hard labor" jobs.
Mowing the lawn, riding my bike twice a day to the school every day (a mile and a half) in the summer time to water the grass, that sort of thing.
I got $350 (approximately) last year, and I didn't think it was all that hard. Though, I live out in the country (there's only about 200 people in my town), and there's probably more yardwork type stuff here.
I don't think theres and "real" work on the computer for a 13 year old.. Most online jobs require you to be 18+, believe me.. I've tryed. I've looked into website building/editing/help, graphics (image) creating/editing.. Almost everything requires 18+ (though you could probably create your own business online).
I heard of a 14 year old girl that payed like $5 a month for a cheap website, and she created flashy, glittery, girly backgrounds for Myspace, and gave them away for free. She had thousands and thousands of them, attracting a TON of people. And she did what's called "affiliate linking". It's where you tell somone (a different website) that sells things (or just wants more people) that you will allow them to advertise on your website, if they pay you (probably 10-30 cents for each click-if there's millions of people on the website-that's probably alot of clicks. OR per month).
And now she's like 17 years old. And she's a millionaire.
There's also game tester's. I've heard that you can be any age, as long as you're good. Course.. I've also heard you have to be 15+, and another place said 18+, another said 10+... So it all depends.

See if the local computer store will hire you, I did that when I was 16 it was pretty cush for my age. But you will probably need a work permit.
Better get used to working shitty jobs... cause that's probably all your going to do until you get some education. |
