Handout your business card to EVERYONE. Next time someone needs something they will ask their friend where to get it and your name will come up.
Jay Conrad Levinson has a book out called Guerrilla Marketing. There are tons of great idea to market your business for free.
In addition, use the Preferred Customer Program, that Mary Kay has. I, too, am a MK consultant, and this has been a great tool for me. I get a lot of orders and reorders off those catalogs and I have to put in very little effort.
And make it a point to use your MK director as a guide. She got where she was going by using the same techniques you will have to implement. |

from my experiance people know very well what mary kay is and how good the product is. maybe you can leave your card every where you go. also maybe a local add in a local paper. or go to bueaty shops and pass out your card with those free samples. anywhere they will let you leave your name card and sample do so. i saw some the other day in a resturant restroom. i hope this helps. good luck to you. |

Hello I am a Xango distributor myself but a good friend of mine is a Mary Kay gal and she does extreamly well. She built her whole business by doing home parties. They are so powerful to get people in your home and introduce them to your product and oportunities. Once your network starts to grow teach those below you to do the same and even host thier parties for them at thier house. Face to face marketing is what its about. Have to get out there and do it!

I sold Avon for awhile, or tried too. I never made any money
at it. I put catalogs in Dentists and doctors offices. I put them in laundromats. I handed them out at work and at my kids school. I handed them out at the mall. I even tried renting a small booth there for awhile. I tried a booth at a craft fair.
None of that worked very well. In fact, I lost money.
I really don't know what to tell you. |

there are 3 types of business basics in every MLM whether its Marykay or Amway or Herbalife or Avon or Oriflame etc.
1st is you create a network of people who willing to do so and
create a volume by self use of products of said MLM.
2nd is some people join said MLM for self use of products only
at discount prices.
3rd is you create some customers whom you share your
products and the volume is generated.
On above 3 basics one MLM business is successful.
The products of any MLM are not expensive but they are mostly cost effective in cost per usage.Morever its mind set of persons and its size their pocket which is small or big.Most persons do not travel in business class of Aeroplane or do not buy a FERRARI or Mercedes or do not stay in suits of 5 star HOTEL but they are in 100% demand and there is waiting for them.
The person who says thet he/she lost so much money in any MLM is lying.How much money is too much money.Is it usd 100 or USD 1 million. Did that person bought unnecessary hardware or anything to show off or present your business in better way and there was no success and you quit and you tell everybody that you lost money and doing wrong propoganda or did not do anything in that MLM after joining that MLM after hearing some negative about that MLM. The is no negative or positive about anything.Its all mindset.
Some people call MLM a scam but MLM has created most of millionares in world and its turnover is about USD 250 billion approximately |
