There are a lot of different companies that give you the opportunity to work from home and make good money. Most home jobs pay minimum wage though. I knew a few people that used to work at westathome. Here's a site where you can go and apply to

Other people work at home and have their own home based business. A business within a business. the income opportunity is unlimited. They are businesses not jobs so you do have to build a business. but I think this is the best route to go in making good money from home.
I know of a blog that has a list of several different industries to take a look at that provide business opportunities like this where you can work a business from home. It will give you a log of information and a good way to make good money working from home.

I have tried so many of these work at home opportunities (and tons of money out the window).
The bad news is that there are many, many companies out there that are complete scams eagerly waiting to get your money. The good news is that there are home based businesses out there that are genuinely legitimate.
There are two ways to work at home:
1 - A work at home job - these are usually hard to get and pay very little. You are still working for someone else and will only make what they want you to make. It is a job so there will be no up front costs.
2. A home based business. If you can find the right one, you will reap the rewards forever. This is your business just like a brick and mortar business but at a fraction of the cost. You will usually have to pay an upfront costs ($10-$500). There is usually a monthly fee to cover websites or other company overhead. Which is very minimal compared to if you were to have a brick and mortar business (electric, sewer, inventory, etc.). There are no limits to the amount of money that you can make and the business is usually willable and sellable!
After trying and trying I finally decided on Answer #2. It seems like I made a career out of failing at home based businesses before I found the right one. I enjoy helping people make informed decisions about working at home.
I have been very successful at working at home for several years now. It is something that you have to put your mind to and be determined to succeed not matter what. There are many naysayers and negative people out there. You just have to put the blinders on and go full speed ahead with whatever you choose to do.

survey sites however, you need to be careful because many of them are scams, but there are also a lot of them that are legitimate, and you can make some money to supplement your income. I have yet to discover an online data entry job that is real, because I have tried looking for them and have not been able to find a single one that isn't a scam. And all of the websites that require you to stuff envelopes in order to make money are definite scams. Looking for companies online is usually very difficult to do. I have tried to look for legitimate companies, but have always ended up being directed to pages that require a fee, which I do not wish to pay.
A while back, a friend of mine told me that she oftentimes made some money online from paid surveys and so I started searching for info and found that there are actual paid survey sites that are legitimate. If you are not sure about the legitimacy of a survey website, just do a google search and just try to find as much information as you can about it (i.e. i generally go into many forums where people discuss these websites), however do not go into youtube.com because many advertisers like to post video clips about their own GPT websites. The paid online survey websites are pretty relaxing and are an excellent way in which moms can make money. My friend is a work-at-home mom and she is also a member of these websites.
I am currently a member of CashCrate, Squishy Cash, TreasureTrooper, and ThisSiteIsForReal.com and highly recommend them because they are free & really pay (I know the names can be deceiving:D). These sites are not scams because I have actually gotten paid and have not had to pay fees or anything for joining them. They pay you by either check or Paypal. Remember, any website that asks you to pay an upfront fee or requires you to provide your SS# in order to join is a scam, and many of these companies are dangerous.You might also want to check out a website called http://www.gptboycott.com/ or http://www.surveypolice.com because they have very useful information in regards to GPT sites that are scams, and which are good paying websites. For now these are the only sites to which I am a member because they have actually paid me and I have been able to cash out their checks at a bank. Hope this information helps & Good luck!:) |
