If you're starting an internet business, you're going to need a static domain and a static IP address. If you don't know what either means, I suggest doing some research before getting started. Contact your ISP and ask for a static IP. Some ISP's do this for free, while others charge money. Also make sure there are no downtimes and backup systems so that your site always stays live. Then, you should register a domain name. Try register.com. After that, you're going to need to set up a server from a machine at home or wherever you have the connection. This is a relatively complicated and involved process, so I suggest googling "home web server." I also suggest installing Linux onto your server computer because Linux is much more secure and less clunky than Windows for server purposes. Search "set up LAMP server" on Google. |

First, get a working knowledge of HTML.
Then get a good "drag & drop" HTML program.
Next lease domain name.
Lastly, rent server space. Server space shouldn't cost more than $8 a month.
Here is a link to the web server I use: http://www.lunarpages.com/id/hankr2no
Good luck. |

Theres a few possibilities; you can hire someone to make you a website, or you can make one yourself using a template. A template is a pre-made website where all you do is fill in the information. It saves alot of time. Heres the link if you go in that direction:

I would get yahoo sitebuilder. It is $11 a month but it is very simple to use. You don't need that much HTML skills. Just type in the search box "yahoo sitebuilder." |

There are alot of websites that charge you to make a website for a business, if you are looking for a website that doesnt charge, you could try going to http://www.teach-nology.com/ and that might work |

I just set one up using Yahoo and it is great. Really easy to use. They cost $8,95 for the first 2 months then $11.95 each month after. But you get a lot of benefits with them also. |
