I think you should look into starting a home based business. There are many different industries to look into.
My husband and I started our home based business over six years ago. We both work out of our home around our children's school and sports activities. They market in services people use every day and pay for anyway. Services like Local and Long Distance telephones, Internet, Digital, video phones, Satellite TV, and all the major cellular phone companies like T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Nextell, Altell etc with the latest plans and most popular equipment. You help put them on a new 2 year contract plan or upgrading and extending an existing contracts through all the major cellular phone providers. You also help them save money on all their other telecommunication needs as well as Satellite TV. Every single month these people pay their bills, you make a percentage over and over again each month.
How many people do you know, or know of around the world that uses one or more of these services or products? . A lot of money involved in this industry.

Check with your local cleaners to see if they need anyone to do alterations. I live in a small town and a lady in town does all the alterations for the local cleaners. She also sews prom, pageant, and ball dresses for people. |

The best source I know of to make money / work from home is called project-payday. I myself made over 1.5k$ in my first month doing it.
I know people that make 3k there.
Another great thing is, that you don't have to invest much time in it, and still make money and you can work from home.

Ebay is a great way to make money from home. And, I just bought a pair of made to order kitchen curtains on there.Alot of people make draft dodgers for your door, pillows, curtains, etc. Check it out and maybe you can find a way to combine both. |

with a modest investment of time and money you can build a business. You need to research the market and make hard choices as to what you really want to achieve. Believe me once burnt thrice shy!
If you do your homework and check out the different money making schemes being marketed and follow your feelings and intuition you will find one that you are comfortable with.
I also like to sew but never made a living at it, others have.

I sell Avon from home. It makes me some decent money as well as the fact I've advanced to Unit Leader so not only do I make money from my customers, but from my downline as well. It's easy to do, only costs $10 to sign up and you can stop any time without a hassle. It's not a get rich quick scheme, so don't expect to make a gazillion bucks right away. You've got to work at getting customers, but most people who are familiar with Avon enjoy getting books and will order consistently.
