Tell Someone about it..he shouldn't be doing that during business hours!! Perv. |

just call and talk to an attorney, ask their opinion.
I would think that would be enough for a sexual harassment suit if you want to pursue that. |

Kill him!!! mwahahaha
No for reals...ummm
Talk to someone about it, don't let it continue this way. I know what it's like to be uncomfortable in a situation....and it's not fun at all. Turn him in!!! He shouldn't be doing this. Don't quit, don't confront him until you tell someone else....it doesn't even have to be a higher boss, just tell a friend that you work with...you will feel better after just that!
Good luck. |

This is a form of sexual harassment. Please contact your local department of labor. Should you find the need to leave this position due to this problem only a report about the incident will allow you the opportunity to file for unemployment.
More recently, the U.S. Supreme Court formally recognized a second type of sexual harassment, referred to as "hostile work environment" harassment. Unlike quid pro quo harassment, hostile work environment harassment is actionable even in the absence of any economic effect upon an employee's job status or employment.
An environment becomes hostile when things are introduced into the work place which makes a person feel uncomfortable such as in your case.
Please remember to file a complaint with your local department of labor. This can be done anonymously. Good luck! |

I don't know if I would personally confront him on the issue. I think I would take it to Human Resources. If you do go to HR, I would document the different times I saw him looking at porn and bring up the fact that it is affecting your productivity and makes you feel uncomfortable. There was a man that worked across the hall from me, he was older and only worked a couple days week. He would look at porn occassionally and his secretary caught him one day. She yelled at him and told him that it was totally inappropriate. It worked for her! |

I strongly agree with one of the previous answers... confront him about it, but not alone. Confide in a co-worker or friend and then take them as a "witness" or mediator. After you've cleared the air with him, resign from your position. You shouldn't have to put up working with such a scumbag!
After you resign, shoot me an email and tell me all about it and I have a much better job opportunity for you! You deserve so much better! |

I think that as long as he is not pushing it off on you, nor has he made any passes at you, then just let it go, if you like your job. It should not make you uncomfortable if he is not showing it to you, making passes or rude comments to you or anything like that then leave him be, it is his office... |

video tape it then publish it on youtube or break |

You should definately report him. Not only is it unprofessional and affecting his and now your job performance, and trust me if he's spending time looking at it that is time he's not spending doing his job so it is affecting his job performance; but also it leaves the company computer system open to infection by virus.
There was a case in Oregon last month were an employee looking at porn got a virus downloaded that copied files that included personal identification and led to identity theft as well as a huge public outcry.
He is putting not only his job at risk but the entire company at risk with his behavior, aside from any moral reservations. |

all you can really do is either confront him.. and deal with the lashing.. OR go to HR and they will confront him for you. |

He invariably has a supervisor this can be reported to, and you don't have to get the blame. This activity is not kosher on the job, and not allowed. Most companies now track websites visited on work computers. They can verify what you report, and your name would never be mentioned. It is his business on his own time, but those around him should not be forced to be exposed to such things on the job. This is extremely unprofessional and unethical. |

start sending him a buncha porn links to start weirding him out. |
|

Mr Bingo

Maybe send him an e-mail from some place he does not know. Tell him that it is a sickness. Let him know porn is like drugs, you need stronger doses to do the same thing. Eventually you end up in jail or nut house.
Other than that I would say better leave it alone if you want to keep your job. If he tries to get you to look at the porn too then that is another story. |

I suggest 2 options:
First of all, that isn't illegal, it is just not working when supposed to be working. Not that I support it, but it is completely legal.
I first suggest to you that it is none of your business how badly your boss spends his time and you should continue working.
If you're really uncomfortable, you should report it to the Boss' boss. Unless he's of a real high level, he probably has a Boss or CEO of whatever company. |

It doesnt matter whether he is your boss or not, he is doing something that is illegal and if it makes you uncomfortable then it could be a form of sexual harassment. If you really dont want to take it to a lawyer you should take it to his boss, or possibly ask the police for help. |

Report his nasty *** to HR! |

Lawyers???
It affects your productivity??? what do you.....sit in the corner sucking your thumb because his choice in websites differ from yours?
Questions: Is it is firm? Is it his computer? Is it his time? Did he invite you to catch him?
If you answered Yes, Yes, Yes, No
Then shut the hell up and get back to work.
No wonder this country is so litigious! |

1.)I really think you should talk to your boss, because something should be done, because looking at porn at work isn't allowed, no matter where you work or what rank you have.
2.)Talk to some one above him (like his boss)
and see what they have to say about it.

sue him. if it is a small company he will pay you off instead of going to court,go see a lawyer and see what she says. and yes i said she you want a woman for this one trust me. oh and start looking for another job now. i would also go to the docter and have them give you some stress meds so there is a medical record of stress from work! |
|

Joe K
|
The only thing that you can do is quit. You cannot sue him. He has not put porn in front of you nor did he force you to look at it. You caught him when he thought he was looking at it privately. Even if you contfront him, you can't make him stop looking at it. But you are well within your rights to quit. He has done nothing wrong from a legal perspective. |

Does he have a boss? Most companies forbid this kind of behavior.
Check his internet log, print it, and mail it to the company owner. |
