ya no what i did? i asked my neighbors if i can do chores for them. it was pretty good pay. 10$ per hour. i raked their leaves, mowed their lawn, and yeah.......that stuff. i'm 13 tho |

I think you should talk to your coach and your counselor in private before practice and simply tell them you can't afford it. You might be surprised how easily they can come up[ with scholarships, etc.
In the meantime, I think Polsky's suggestions "Visit your neighbours and offer to do jobs for them like walking their dog, babysitting their children, mowing their lawn, raking leaves..." are a good idea. However, they'll be much more likely to chip in a few dollars toward your cause if you tell them honestly why you need the money and when.

there are many ways you can earn money, try going around the nieghborhood and selling stuff like candy bars, maybe ask your close nieghbors if they need someone to baby sit of if they need there grass cut, or if you dont want to do that then try collecting cans around the nieghboorhood |

Ask the teacher for mercy, you know ask her can you pay for it later. Or ask your other relatives for like ten dollars each until you get $50, or ask them for $5 each. Ask your friends or your moms best friend. Or take a lot of your clothes to Platos Closet. |

You gotta hustle man. Go shoot some dice and play some pool! No, j/p. Wash windsheilds, rake lawns, cut grass(you can easilly get 50 bucks by cutting 3 or 4 good sized lawns) sell your xbox/ps2 or for that matter, sell anything that's worth some cash that you have no use for. |

If you have a Cato's Closet in your area donate all the gently used clothes you don't wear. I'm pretty sure you can generate $50 worth of stuff you don't wear anymore. Besides it helps other teens in the same sense. |

call you friends and ask for like 20 or 10 from each and tell them you'll pay them back. Just seriously go to a friend or a few and ask them. Also you can seel books for half price. Also you can go to your neighbors and ask them if they have any chores you can do. Tell them its for a fund raiser or something. i wish i was your neighbor I would definitly help you. But honestly I think the neighbor thing wuld work. Just say Is there anything i can do like wash your car or the dishes or vacuum. Especially old people need help. I wish you the best.
