Work is always available and living here you learn to appreciate life. I have been all around the world and seen many things. I was in Brazil twice once in Recife and once in Rio I loved it there and in most cases it was so similar. I would say come for a visit and see what you can. Then you can make an educated decision. |

The United States has its own unique challenges, but relatively speaking, it is not all that difficult to live here, and as it appears you have English skills, you should be able to get a job.

I think it's easy to find a job as long as you are willing to work, be on time, treat customers fairly and also treat employers fairly. Many businesses can't find people willing to work so help wanted signs are out all over the place. You probably have to start at an entry level job but with hard work and diligence, you can move up. |

There is always Starbucks Coffee they are always in need of people with a happy smile. To live in the United States is probably much easier for someone who belongs to a different place and much more challenging for a citizen of the United States who picks up the tag for those who are non productive.

Well, your question is a very open question.
You did not give any details about your profession or skills neither about your education.
If we put aside the VISA issue and assume that this issue is resolved it is not an impossible task to find employment in the US.
It is also depends on the area you choose to live, your skills, and likes and dislike as well as your knowledge of the English language.
Many employers from my impression and knowing many owners of business, are willing to employ foreigners due to the fact that they are more willing to work in low paying jobs then the average blue color US citizen due to the fact they are NOT entitled to get unemployment benefits as easy as a US citizen.
to summarize, YES it is kind of easy to find employment in the US if you are willing to start in the lower stage and climb up the ladder if you are capable and talented, as well as a good and loyal worker.
And after you get a job , yes it is kind of easy to live in the USA, Fun, and FREE.

If you are skilled in some area of expertise, you will have an easier time. Many Americans are not willing to work hard or be responsible in their jobs once they have them so employers are leary about hiring new people. Some areas of this country are easier to find work in and some areas are also less likely to harbor prejudices that might limit your abilities to find work. I would have to know more in order to help more. |

It is not easy. A decent one bedroom apartment in the northeastern U.S. can cost $600+ a month, not including utilities, which can be more than the rent! You're best bet is to start off with a room-mate. Its easy to get a job at one of the casinos. |
